I was very much impressed by your art of driver training, I was benefited greatly from it.
I was with many other driving instructors before I finally met you, here are your differences:
Extremely knowledgeable and skilled ( in driving and teaching)
Very discipline, (strict, follow the rules at all times, never take any chance).
Always arrived earlier before lesson start, and 1 hour driving lesson really means 1 hour driving and learning.
Correct every driver mistake I made straight way.( I had so many bad habits learned from many other driving instructors, had many lesson with them, I still had no idea what to do, or where is my problem, how to correct them, you found all my weakness from the very first lesson, and correct them straight and repeatedly reminding me until I finally correct that bad habit).
After every lesson, I found myself improved a lot, learned a lot, I was always looking forward to next lesson. that was brilliant feeling. ever lesson, I correct many mistakes, and learned new skills.
I always worry about being panic when car stalled or hit the kerb during the test, but your tips really made me relaxed and confident.
My test was in Barking, today the testing route was very familiar to me, because you took me to all these driving test routes before my test, this gave me even more confidence during my test.

I had two previous driving instructors before Noel Christopher, so it’s easy for me to see the great amount of difference there can be in an instructor, and that is exactly what Noel is, a driving instructor. He will teach you not only how to drive, but how to drive safely, and how to pass your test. Every lesson with Noel is an assessment.
Noel’s style of teaching is, in my opinion, the most successful. If you are making an error he explains what you are doing, how you can stop doing it, and will point it out to you until it is as glaringly obvious to you as it is to him.
Noel is not strict and unapproachable, he has just the right balance of easy going and being forceful when he needs to be. The difference between the two is what helped me to pass.

I shall briefly describe about the whole experience of taking driving lessons from
Noel Christopher and my practical test experience in Wanstead.
After much search around Internet I felt Noel’s blog and testimonials gave me an idea of Noel’s teaching method and the way it helped others pass the practical driving test.
I started taking lessons and I liked Noel’s methodical approach of teaching right from the basics to preparing me for the big day. The driving lessons were a good mix of training different manoeuvres and personalised approach of troubleshooting the issues I was struggling with.
I really felt I have made the right choice right from the moment I took the first lesson.
You see learning with Noel was more enjoyable, good conversations on different topics to fill the awkward silence and waiting in the traffic. Though it took me more driving lessons to prepare for the practical test then what I initially expected.
I thought it would be better to take more lessons and clear the exam in maximum of two attempts rather than less number of lessons and more number of attempts to pass.
On my First attempt I wasn’t quite confident myself added to that the examiner was like a stone faced (a robot telling you directions what to do) and gave the direction quite late approaching Redbridge complex roundabout which increased the pressure. Even Noel completely agreed on this point who was in the car as an observer while I took the test.
The Second time around after 3-4 lessons, I was much more confident and was relaxed and this time the examiner was really friendly and I was able to concentrate on driving not feeling any pressure from the examiner and I passed.
When I look back and assess why I failed the 1st time round. It is because I did not follow some of the advice given by Noel; speaking out, calling out signs, visualizing, learning from mistakes and keeping my mouth shut when approaching hazards, maybe I could have passed 1st time, but I am now a better and safer driver thanks to stone face examiner (not all examiner are the same)
I not only learnt how to drive but I also became more aware of how to lead a life to become more successful by listening to those tapes and the conversations which I had with Noel during the driving lessons.
I really think Noel has good qualities of a life coach and his style of blending it with driving lessons, helps people like me to become more aware of how to drive their own life, while learning to drive a car.
I got the value for money I paid learnt driving and at the same time some life skills which are quite essential in my daily life.
So friends I personally feel a professional tutor like Noel, good practice and learning from the mistakes that you commit during the lessons are the key things to pass the practical test.
